About the Host: Nelly Daynac

Nelly Daynac has worked at the Voice of America as a radio and TV broadcaster since 2002. She is a frequent contributor to the weekly French-to-
Africa TV program Washington Forum and has been covering West and Central Africa extensively since joining VOA. 

She has reported from Cameroon, Chad and Mali and will cover the World Cup Soccer 2006 in Germany this summer.

Prior to joining VOA, Nelly worked as a freelance radio correspondent for several international stations.

Her favorite leisure activities include listening to music, singing, and painting. Nelly Daynac graduated from the School of Journalism at La Sorbonne University in Paris, France.
