Botswana President Visits White House
U.S. President Barack Obama met Thursday with Botswana President Ian Khama at the White House. Mr. Obama praised Botswana, calling it an "extraordinary success story."
United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met with Ethiopian Foreign Minister Seyoum Mesfin. Clinton praised the long standing ties between the two nations, on a number of important issues.
And, another African political figure was in Washington this week and VOA's Chinedu Offor spoke with the Governor of River State in the Niger Delta, Chibuike Amaechi.
