David Hasselhoff has lost visitation rights with his two teengage daughters.

The move comes in the wake of a widely-distributed video which showed the 54-year-old actor intoxicated in his Las Vegas home.

Saying the tape "changed the landscape" of the case, Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas set a May 21 court date to determine the tape's authenticity. His visitation order will remain in place until then.

In a statement last week, Hasselhoff said he was a recovering alcoholic who had experienced a brief relapse. "I have learned from it and am back on my game," he said.

Hasselhoff's attorney, Melvin Goldsman, did not return a May 7 message.

David Hasselhoff and his former wife Pamela Bach share joint custody of their two children: 16-year-old Taylor-Ann, who shot the video about three months ago, and 14-year-old Hayley.
