Talk to America: Puts You In Touch With The World!

When Talk To America made its debut in November 1994, it offered VOA listeners a new and innovative way to experience radio. Unlike other programs at that time, Talk To America was all about interactivity.  Listeners throughout the world not only tuned in to listen, but actually participated in its lively and informative discussions on a wide range of topics.  Now, Talk To America is taking yet another new step in providing innovative, interactive programming by evolving into T2A a new live weekly text-based, moderated webchat, that begins on Wednesday, July 11th at 1800 UTC (2:00 p.m. EDT)

Under international humanitarian law, children’s rights must be respected during armed conflict. But many times, children are torn from their families and pressed into serving as soldiers or they are held captive – or killed.  Today we present an encore of a program, originally aired this past April, that examined what the international community is doing to help get children back together with their families, as well as medical care, food, water and shelter.
