6 Palestinians Killed in West Bank Violence

06 November 2004

New violence in the Israeli occupied territories has killed at least six Palestinians.

In the West Bank town of Qalqilya Saturday, hospital officials say two Palestinians were killed when a car exploded.

Meanwhile, in the Gaza Strip, Israel says three Palestinian militants were killed in an airstrike early Saturday.

Army officials say a helicopter fired at armed men as they tried to infiltrate a Jewish settlement in southern Gaza.

And a Palestinian teenage boy was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank town of Jenin, during a clash between stone-throwing protesters and soldiers.
