Indian Government Tsunami Disaster Relief Information

Many of the countries affected by the earthquake and tsunami on December 26, 2004 have set up hotlines for citizens and foreign nationals in the affected areas.

A control room is working round the clock in the Home Ministry to monitor relief and rehabilitation measures following the tsunami which struck the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Pondichery.
