The third time is a charm for Carlos Santana, who has just released his third consecutive album of collaborations. Like his previous two albums, "All That I Am" teams the Grammy-winning guitarist with major stars as well as up-and-comers from the rock and pop world.

At age 58, Carlos Santana could easily be thinking about trading his guitar for a fishing pole, and retiring to a life of rest and relaxation. And, with the 40th anniversary of the formation of his first band looming on the horizon, there's probably no better time to settle down.

But, for Santana, there's no better time to keep on playing.

On "Brown Skin Girl" Santana teams up with American Idol runner-up Bo Bice.

And, on "I Am Somebody," Santana performs alongside a rapper 28 years his junior, Black Eyed Peas founding member Will.i.Am.

Other special guests include Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, Los Lonely Boys, soul singer Anthony Hamilton, Metallica lead guitarist Kirk Hammett and pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph.

All That I Am

With worldwide album sales totaling more than 90 million copies, membership into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and 10 Grammy Awards to his credit, Carlos Santana is more than happy to share the limelight. About his latest collection he says, "My role is to compliment. It's nothing new. I've been doing this since 1968."

Santana is currently making promotional rounds for his new album, including appearances on the World Music Awards and the American Music Awards. His 2006 tour will take him to South America and Europe.
