Iraqi officials say attacks and bombings across Baghdad have killed at least 13 people.

Bomb blasts, mortar attacks and drive-by shootings Wednesday targeted civilians, police and Iraqi soldiers. Local police also reported finding 10 bodies on Baghdad's streets and in the Tigris river.

Hospital officials said 12 more people died from their wounds from Tuesday's bomb attack on a Shi'ite wedding in Baghdad, raising the death toll in the blast to 23.

North of Baghdad, Iraqi police say they continue to search for at least 30 Shi'ites believed to have been abducted while traveling on a main road.

The U.S. military says 104 American troops were killed in combat in Iraq during October, making it the military's fourth deadliest month since the 2003 invasion.

Also Wednesday, the U.S. military said a coalition air strike destroyed a bomb-making factory used by insurgents south of Baghdad.

Officials also say coalition forces killed one militant and captured another during a raid on the town of Balad, north of Baghdad. The military says the raid targeted an associate of a senior al-Qaida in Iraq leader.
