Police charged 27-year-old Bilal Abdullah Friday with conspiring to cause explosions. Abdullah is one of two men who drove a blazing Jeep into the terminal at Glasgow Airport and was detained at the scene. He is among eight Muslim medical workers arrested after the attacks.

Abdullah's court appearance coincides with the second anniversary of the July 7 suicide attacks on the London transit system that killed 52 people along with four suicide bombers, and wounded more than 700 people.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and other officials placed flowers this morning at the King's Cross subway station in London to commemorate the victims of the attack.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Friday investigators from Britain to Australia are "getting to the bottom" of the militant cell behind last week's attacks.

Australian police have searched hospitals and questioned doctors in connection with the attacks. The raids followed Monday's arrest in Brisbane, Australia, of an Indian doctor who had previously worked in Glasgow.

Also Friday, a coalition of British Muslim groups started a campaign condemning the attempted bombings.

The "Not in Our Name" campaign by the Muslims United coalition began with advertisements in newspapers across Britain, saying that Islam forbids the killing of innocent people.
