Stevie Wonder is preparing to hit the road on his first U.S. tour in 12 years.

The Motown legend kicks off his first stateside tour since 1995 on August 23 in San Diego. Titled "A Wonder Summer's Night," the 13-show tour will cover eight states before concluding September 20 in Boston.

Tickets will be available August 11. Prices were not immediately released.

The 57-year-old singer-songwriter has won 22 Grammy Awards while releasing dozens of hit songs. He received a 1985 Academy Award for "I Just Called To Say I Love You," and was a 1989 inductee in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
