Marie Osmond's 16-year-old son is in rehab. Appearing on the November 14 edition of  CNN's the Larry King Show, the singer-actress confirmed that her son Michael is in a treatment facility.

A representative for Osmond released a statement to Access Hollywood saying "My son Michael is an amazing young man, shown through his courage in facing his issues. As his mother, I couldn't be more proud of him. The press and public have always been kind and gracious in the past and I know they will continue to respect our privacy during this time."

Osmond's brother, Jimmy, also confirmed the news, noting that when one has a family as large as the Osmonds, "you're going to deal with every issue on the planet."

It is not yet known which facility Michael entered, or his reason for seeking treatment.

Marie Osmond survived the latest round of cuts on the U.S. reality TV series Dancing With The Stars. Her father, George, died on November 6 at age 90.
