Hundreds of members of the activist group Women of Zimbabwe Arise and their male counterparts staged a protest in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, on Monday.

The activists marched for 10 blocks before police dispersed them without arrests.

The theme for the demonstration was ‘’Stand Up For the Child."

WOZA National Coordinator Jenni Williams told reporter Patience Rusere of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that protests would be held in other cities and rural areas.
