Researchers say four of six people who underwent treatment had some vision restored
Researchers say four of six people who underwent treatment had some vision restored
For the first time, scientists have used gene therapy to dramatically improve sight in people with a rare, inherited form of blindness.  Researchers in Philadelphia and London are calling the results a milestone. During the experimental therapy faulty genes are replaced with normal ones.  VOA's Robert Raffaele has the story.
