American classical pianist Martin Berkofsky has long impressed music critics around the world with his firebrand virtuosity. But as VOA's Irina Robertson learned when she met recently with Berkovsky, he stopped playing for personal fame 25 years ago and began performing for charitable causes. Scot Riddlesberger narrates the story.
