Zimbabwe's Ghetto Basketball League Seeks To Broaden Fan Appeal

Zimbabwe's Ghetto Basketball League says it will try to take advantage of a three-week break in the Premier Soccer League schedule to draw new spectators to its hoop matches. 

Ghetto Basketball League President Tendai Zhakata told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that he is sure his players can attract traditional soccer fans to the schedule of basketball games that began Sunday in Harare.
