Andre de Nesnera has been a Senior Analyst in the VOA newsroom in Washington after serving as News Director for several years. Before that, he was National Security Correspondent and for five years was based in London as Senior European Correspondent. His specialty is international politics, with an emphasis on European affairs.

Mr. de Nesnera began his career at the Voice of America in 1980. He opened VOA's Geneva Bureau in 1984 and in 1989 became VOA's first full-time Correspondent based in Moscow. Mr. de Nesnera has a BA from Fordham University and an MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
