Leta Hong Fincher recently joined VOA in Washington after serving as a correspondent in our Beijing bureau. Before joining VOA, she was a TV and radio correspondent in Shanghai and Hong Kong. Leta speaks fluent Mandarin and spent much of her childhood travelling through China, as the child of China scholars. She received her Bachelor's degree from Harvard University and her Master's degree in East Asian Studies from Stanford University. |
