Brown: Britain Will Send More Troops to Afghanistan

British prime minister says it wants other allies - not including the United States - to send another 5,000 troops as well.

"We are prepared to put more troops into Afghanistan, there must be burden-sharing among the alliance," said British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
