Jennifer Janin was born and raised in New York City and holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in International Relations and Strategic Studies. She came to work for VOA in 1992 as an International Radio Broadcaster and spent most of the next five years writing about the war in Bosnia in VOA's Washington newsroom. Jennifer was selected in 1998 to be an Assignments Editor in charge of coordinating coverage from our correspondents in the White House, Pentagon, State Department and Capitol Hill. In May 2000, she took up the post of Senior Editor in Hong Kong, where she works with VOA's staff in Asia to produce regional coverage for English News broadcasts. |
