Rohit Kulkarni - TV Reporter/Producer

Rohit is a producer/reporter for the weekly television show 'Duniya.' He also contributes to news related programming on VOA Hindi Radio. He joined VOA Hindi in March 2004, and produces reports on sports, entertainment and politics but enjoys human-interest stories most of all. His notable work includes covering the US elections, Iraq elections, and Bollywood related stories.

Rohit loves being a "one-man army," producing his own stories from start to finish. His professional dream is to produce special reports and programs on major sporting events such as the Olympics, World Cup, and Cricket World Cup. 

Rohit started his professional career in Mumbai, India. He also worked with the BBC in Washington during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Rohit studied television broadcasting at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, in addition to earning an MA from Pune University in India and a BA in Physics from Fergusson College Pune, India.
