Vidushi joined VOA Hindi TV as a reporter/producer in January 2004. Since then, she has diversified her interests and skills, covering political, social, and cultural stories of interest to South Asia, and to the Indian American community in the U.S.  She reports primarily for Duniya, a weekly news magazine program that airs weekly on Aaj Tak in India but her stories also appear on Headline News. Some notable reports include Natwar Singh’s US visit, U.S. relief efforts after the tsunami, U.S. presidential debates, and many other issues that are integral to the Indian American community.

Before coming to Voice of America, Vidushi worked with MSNBC’s Special Reports Division in Secaucus, NJ covering major news stories in the tri-state area. Her reports contributed directly to MSNBC’s post-Sept. 11th coverage on subjects ranging from airport security measures to new regulations on foreign students in the U.S.  Prior to MSNBC, Vidushi worked at CNN International in Atlanta for the weekly program, Insight.  She also worked as a full-time reporter for the Times of India’s Delhi bureau, adding another dimension of training and experience in journalism to her work, having studied at the Times Center for Media Studies.

Vidushi earned her master’s degree in Communication from Georgia State University and currently resides in Fairfax, Virginia with her husband and son, Yukt.
