Thai officials say the original population of Ban Huay Nam Khao are the Hmongs who were moved there from Wat Tham Krabok in Sarabury Province, whereas the groups  who have lived in Ban Huay Nam Khao  since 2004 are from Laos, whom they consider illegal immigrants and will send back to Laos under a bilateral agreement with Lao authorities.
