Child trafficking, a $10-billion a year industry
Because of poverty and lack of educational opportunity in their homeland, an increasing number of Lao girls and women have fallen victims of human trafficking.

They are lured into Thailand under the pretext of finding job and forced into prostitution by a transnational labor trafficking network with operatives working closely in Thailand and Laos.
