Vang Xeng told VOA that there are 58 Hmong men in his community who were former CIA soldiers, and the rest of the more than 6 thousand Hmongs in his group are  widows and children of CIA  Hmong soldiers who died during the Indochina war.

He called on the US to take action regarding his people as soon as possible because they are in a dire situation, living in makeshift shelters along the road, suffering food, shortage and medical treatment, and living in virtual isolation because Thai citizens are forbidden to help them.
