Lao-American Graphic Designer Says Key to Success Is Meeting Clients' Expectations

In this part two of an exclusive interview with VOA, graphic designer Norasack Pathammavong of Norasack Design says the key to his company's success is to understand the clients' concepts and meet their expectations.

Norasack also talks about the process of

creating graphic designs for his clients' promo brochures, from sketching to presenting the rough drafts to win their approval. He compares his work to building a house. If his works do not match the clients' concepts, then they will not be approved.

He adds that to be a successful graphic designer, one must not only be a talented artist but must also be be literate in computer technology, and must take a basic course in arts as well as study the history and backgrounds of world famous artists to use as models.

Narasack has a couple of graphic designers to help with his works. But he says his greatest helping hand is his wife Manida, who runs the company.
