Thongsouk Vongphakdy of Ontario, Canada, recorded his debut album in 2006 with Lao classic songs penned by Laos' well known songwriter S. Sengsirivanh, who currently resides in Oregon.

Three cuts featured here include the title cut - "Pheua Nong," followed by "Teuan Pheuan Katay," and the forever-popular, "Hark Haeng Nun Mee Jom Jai."
