Palestinians Get Non-Member State Status in Historic UN Vote

The United Nations General Assembly has granted non-member state status to the Palestinian Authority. The vote was 138 in favor. The United States was among nine countries that voted against. Forty-one abstained. VOA Correspondent Peter Fedynsky has details from New York City.
