Egyptian Singer Puts Protest to Music (VOA On Assignment)

VOA Middle East Correspondent Elizabeth Arrott tells On Assignment's Alex Villarreal about an Egyptian woman illuminating the political plight of her people with an accordion and a smile. In 2012, Youssra el-Hawary's anti-corruption song "The Wall" went viral, capturing international attention and the first prize in a global music video competition.
