For years part of singer Sarah Vaughan’s band, pianist Bill Mays has recorded with such stellar jazz musicians as Gerry Mulligan, Phil Woods, Bud Shank and Freddie Hubbard; and also with pop stars such as Andy Williams and Barry Manilow. Bill joins Eric at Blues Alley to talk about his varied career and to perform, with bassist Tommy Cecil, music of Stephen Sondheim.
