First of all I would like to thank you for this useful videos.
Well, some times the music in the background makes it difficult to understand exactly what the teacher is saying.

As an American, watching this video explain the meaning is completely true and accurate, but we don't touch each other the way the man and woman do. We only put hands on shoulders if we're encouraging someone, really. If we say, "What's up" to someone, we either hug or we don't touch at all. The only time hugging applies is when a girl is the one doing the hugging. Sometime a guy will hug another guy, but very rarely. Girls hug each other all the time, and a guy shouldn't hug a girl first, he waits for her to hug him.
