Phuntsok Tsering studied and performed Tibetan arts at Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA), Dharamsala, India for about twenty years. He then studied English literature from David College, England for two years. After conducting research on Tibetan performing arts for about a year at TIPA, he later founded Thangtong Lhugar Performing Arts at Sahara nearby Dharamsala. Today we’ll be talking to Phuntsok Tsering about his role as a director and founder of the recently formed performing arts school.
