    In speaking about this month’s election of Hassan Rohani as president of Iran, President Barack Obama, said in an interview on PBS television that with their vote, “The Iranian people rebuffed the hardliners. . .who were counseling no compromise on anything, anytime, anywhere. “Clearly,” he said, “you have a hunger within Iran to engage with the international community in a more positive way.”

    Dear VOA, we did post a comment on Mrs Wendy Sherman's statement last week. But, somehow, "freedom of expression" in today's America, it seems, to have failed to impress your editor-in-charge. Hopefully, this time-round, the VOA would have the intellectual courage to let this-one through and publish it: Show the Iranians that, you actually do what you preach! That's an American way, isn't it?
