Tenzin Choephel is a doctoral student at Pennsylvania State University, specializing in Aerospace Engineering. His research involves developing computational model for the analysis of helicopters. Raised in Gangtok, India and schooled in Tibetan Children’s Village schools in Dharamsala, Choephel completed his Bachelors in Aerospace engineering in India before coming to the United States for graduate studies. Besides serving as a board member of the Tibetan Scientific Society based in India, Choephel often speaks on science and engineering at Tibetan Sunday schools in the United States.
