After serving a two year prison term for taking part in and shooting video of the 2008 protests in Kham Tawu, Tawu Lobsang Jinpa fled Tibet and is currently living in Dharamsala, India. Jinpa’s passion for music and Tibetan freedom are behind his first CD release titled Kyamgon Bod La Pheb. He talks to VOA about his life in Tibet and India, and why he is making music now.
