News & Views: -Our report from the U.S. Congress will focus on a Wednesday afternoon news conference with Reps. Markey, Shays and others on nuclear safeguards in light of Iran and N. Korea nuclear programs as well as coverage of Condoleezza Rice’s testimony before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations committee. -Washington report looks at Ayatollah Khameni’s recent statements about U.S. threats of attacking Iran and his envoy’s visit to Russia, aiming to find a solution to the nuclear situation with the West. -Meanwhile, Iran’s UN Representative has issued an official letter asking the US not to attack Iran. -Human Rights Watch is condemning Iran for arresting people who want to travel outside the country. We speak to one such person, Taghi Rahmani, who was released from jail several months ago.

Late Edition: Our top story today is about the growing controversy over the U.S. employing non-government workers in Iraq. On Wednesday, the families of four privately employed security guards who were killed in Iraq gave emotional testimony to the U.S. Congress. They told lawmakers the employer -- a U.S. government contractor -- failed to provide adequate protections. At the same time, the U.S. Justice Department indicted five former officials that prosecutors say took millions of dollars in cash and bribes out of Iraq.
