News & Views: We will lead its broadcast with reports that Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Dan Gillerman, met on Wednesday with Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to protest Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's labeling of Israel as "a dirty microbe." Ki-moon called Ahmadinejad's words "intolerable and inexcusable" and vowed he would address the controversial remarks. We will continue our reporting on the six men were executed in prison for armed robbery in the northern city of Zanjan, while four convicts were hanged in Teheran's Evin prison on charges of murder. Samil Lalwani of the New America Foundation will join us live to discuss the Pakistani elections and aftermath. Emile El-Hokayem of the Stimson Center will join us live to discuss the attitude of Persian Gulf countries toward Iran's nuclear program. He wrote a paper for the Middle East Studies Association conference last year on this very topic.

Roundtable: E. Ethelbert Miller of Howard University's Department of African Studies will be in the DC studio. Miller is an expert on the African American Experience and an eminent poet. He will disscuss the African American experience, the Obama phenomenon, Black History Month, etc.
