News and Views will cover the latest on:  Palestinian militants in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip have fired several rockets into southern Israel. The people of Beirut were venturing out in small numbers into the streets patrolled by both Lebanese troops and bands of Shiite gunmen on Saturday, a day after Hezbollah and its allies conquered the city's Sunni Muslim Neighborhoods in sectarian street fighting. The death toll in Lebanon from three days of intense fighting between Hezbollah and  pro-Western supporters has risen to at least 18.
