Hunger Strike by Manchu Middle School Students

Dolkar Kyap, originally from Machu and a researcher in Dharamsala, and Mr. Tenzin Samphel from the Tibetan UN Advocacy, discuss the hunger strike by Tibetan students of Machu Tibetan Nationality Middle School. The students sat on a hunger strike since April 22 to protest against the authorities who fired two Tibetan teachers at the school and demands the release of a detained Tibetan teacher and his reinstatement.
