At the Tibetan Democracy Day function, organised at Jantar Mantar, the six month long protest campaign organised by Delhi Tibetan Solidarity Committee comes to an end. "We are having problem of people's participation to this campaign due to coming of the winter sweater business, which is main bread earner for Tibetans in India." says Chokyong Wangchuk, main coordinator of the committee when asked for the reason of concluding the campaign.

Kalon Tenpa Tsering, representative of His Holiness in Delhi read out the message of Kashag and stressed on receiving high standard of education to make the democratic system work in the Tibetan society. Earlier Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok read the message of Tibetan Parliament in Exile. Mr. Kiran Rijiju, Member of Indian Parliament, attended the function as a guest of honour.
