Former Tibetan political prisoner Takna Jigme Sangpo met with Secretary General of the UN Human Rights Commission in Geneva wednesday morning and Mr. Sangpo briefed the secretary about the prison conditions in Tibet. Mr. Sangpo spent almost 27 years in prison and he was released last year on medical parole. Samgpo is scheduled to testify before the UN Commission on Human Rights Thursday.
