Thousands of People Attend Dalai Lama's Talk at MCI Center

Tibet's exiled spiritual leader has delivered a speech to more than 16 thousand people in a Washington sports arena.

The Dalai Lama told the crowd Sunday evening that he has three missions in his life. First, the promotion of human values such as compassion, tolerance and love. Second the promotion of harmony among various faiths in the world, and third, to work for Tibet's cause.

He also spoke about a world without weapons of mass destruction.

The 70 year old leader is in the midst of a 10 day visit to the U.S. capital.

On Wednesday, the Dalai Lama met with President Bush at the White House
