“Human trafficking is considered the

third-biggest crime industry in the world, with some experts predicting that at its current growth rate,

it will soon become number one,

surpassing drugs and arms dealing.”

Renowned Israeli actress and producer Adi Ezroni, and Israeli writer and producer Guy Jacobson, have teamed up to produce “Holly,” a feature length film about child trafficking. Starring an impressive list of acclaimed American, European and Asian actors, “Holly” presents the true story of a twelve-year old Vietnamese girl who is sold into a brothel in Cambodia, and an American man who tries to save her.

According to the producers, the purpose of the film is not only to educate and inform audiences about the very real existence of child trafficking, but also to spearhead a worldwide human rights campaign against this crime. To that end, they have the full support and involvement of the U.S. State Department:

“The State Department’s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking and Persons commends Priority Films’ efforts to raise awareness about child sex trafficking through its powerful narrative film “Holly”, which is routinely followed by expert discussions.

The artistry of this film brings into stark relief the horror of child sex tourism – a truly hideous assault on children and an often overlooked form of sexual violence.

Priority Films producers Guy Jacobson and Adi Ezroni are also affecting change through their NGO The Red Light Children Campaign, designed to motivate individuals across the globe to urge their governments to do more to combat human trafficking.”

- Ambassador Mark P. Lagon

Adi Ezroni and Guy Jacobson, the producers of this compelling film, recently sat down with Julie Vahdati, host of A Woman’s World, to talk about the film, the support and involvement of the U.S. State Department, and the number of ways international audiences can become involved in the worldwide campaign against human trafficking.
