A major Pakistani opposition party called off a street protest campaign against the government last week in a gesture of unity after a horrific attack by Taliban militants on a school in the country's northwest. VOA’s Idrees Ali spoke with analyst Michael Kugelman of the Woodrow Wilson Center, and asked him why the attack has unified many Pakistanis in revulsion. Ali also discussed the issue with Madiha Afzal, a public policy professor, and asked her if the outrage in Pakistan is likely to last.
