Malawian Band in Prison Nominated for a Grammy

For the first time ever, a Malawian band has been nominated for the Grammy Awards, and not just any band. This one is a little known music group in Zomba Maximum Security Prison. Their project “I Have No Everything Here,” recorded in prison in January, was nominated for the “Best World Music Album.” Lameck Masina meets the group inside the prison and checks out a performance.
