While the Bush Administration inadvertently strengthened Iran through the US-led invasion of Iraq, it remains to be seen if the landmark nuclear deal brokered by the Obama administration will in fact restrain Iran’s nuclear ambitions over the next 15 years, much less lead to a broader rapprochement with the West.
