Samsung Fights Apple Over Phone Rights, Pulls Plug on Galaxy 7

Samsung may have gotten a little good news Tuesday as the U.S. Supreme court took up its effort to reduce a lower court judgment that cost the South Korean company hundreds of millions of dollars in a patent fight with rival Apple. But the day also saw Samsung end production of its troubled Galaxy Note 7 smartphone. As VOA’s Jim Randle reports, a huge recall failed to solve problems with the devices overheating and smoking.
