Iraqi militants have freed three foreign hostages.
A Nepalese foreign ministry spokesman said Friday, Nepalese cook Yunus Kawari is safe and is being looked after by his employers.
The diplomat said he did not have any information on the fate of an American and two Iraqi security guards who were seized Monday along with Mr. Kawari from the office of a Saudi firm in Baghdad.
Meanwhile, Lebanese diplomats say two Lebanese held hostage for five weeks have been freed and returned to Lebanon Thursday.
More than 150 foreigners have been seized in a wave of kidnappings in Iraq since last April. More than 30 of the hostages have been killed by their captors.
