US Men's Soccer Plays Honduras in Friendly Match Saturday

update

The U.S. men's soccer team plays Honduras Saturday in an international friendly match in New Mexico, as U.S. Coach Bruce Arena prepares his team for this month's World Cup qualifier against Mexico.

The U.S. team has a record of five wins, two losses, and three draws against Honduras. The last time the two countries played, the U.S. men won 4-0 in a friendly match last June in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

Honduras is coming off a loss to Costa Rica in the final of the UNCAF Nations Cup tournament in Guatemala last month. Costa Rica won the match, 7-6, on penalties.

The U.S. team beat Colombia, 3-0, last week in California in a friendly match. The Americans take on Mexico in a World Cup qualifier March 27 in Mexico.
