Creamer, Kim Lead Evian Masters Women's Golf

American golfers Paula Creamer and Christina Kim share the second round lead at the Evian Masters LPGA tournament in Evian-les-Bains, France, but world number one Annika Sorenstam of Sweden is only two strokes back.

Both Creamer, an 18-year-old rookie, and 21-year-old Kim shot 4-under-par 68s in the second round and are 8-under-par (136) for the tournament.

Sorenstam had the best round of the day with a 6-under-par 66 and is 6-under-par (138) for two rounds.

Britain's Laura Davies and Carin Koch of Sweden are tied for fourth place at the halfway point, three strokes off the lead at 5-under-par (139). Davies shot a 2-under-par 70 in the second round while Koch had a 1-over-par 73.

Fifteen-year-old amateur Michelle Wie of the United States shot a 2-under-par 70 in the second round and is part of a group tied for 23rd place at 1-over-par (145).

The tournament is being played on the Evian Masters Golf Club course, a par-72 layout that covers 5,662 meters. The winner takes home $375,000.
