33 Missing After Ship Sinks in Indian Ocean

Authorities say 33 people are missing after a ship heading from Madagascar to the Comoros Islands sank in the Indian Ocean Saturday.

Officials in Mayotte, a French island near the site of the wreck, say 43 people have been rescued since the Moubarak went down.

They said they did not know about the accident until a survivor was found two days after the boat sank.

The search for survivors continues.
